I love this pink upon the dark background. This almost looks like a painting actually with its smoothness. I adore how rick the pink color stands out. The detail upon the flower is good however if it was less smooth and more sharp the details would have stood out more. However it does make it look artistic in a sense. I adore the dark tones, they are just so perfect. It evokes the sense of spring so well. It kind of has a isolated feel seeing that there is only one pink flower there. The subject is in the center but however it looks good. I love the textures on the branch however would look better if it were less smooth. But great job. This is amazing. The colors are so dull but yet beautiful. It gives a sad lonely feel of which we can all relate too sometimes.

This soft, almost fragile looking flower makes for a beautiful photograph! The very subtle colors make the pink stand out just enough to bring attention and the almost motion blurred looking backround makes for a more delicate looking focal point. The use of lighting is as equally well used. The lighting coming from the top that gently and barely touch the tip of the flower petals makes a sort of spotlight. It makes the photo much more interesting and equally beautiful. This macro shot is very detailed when it comes to the flower and the angle is nice as well. I say this photographer is starting off great for the new year! Good work!
